Canyons School District is the fifth-largest district in Utah serving 34,000 students at 49 schools. We employ close to 2,000 teachers, some of whom were drawn here by the state’s natural beauty; how many major metropolitan areas are footsteps from eight ski resorts and hiking trails or a half day’s drive from five national parks?
Others know that because Canyons was created less than a decade ago by a vote of the people, we enjoy uncommon levels of community support. Our patrons have supported two school improvement bonds, exceeding half-a-million dollars, and pay increases every year since the District’s inception.
