AFSA is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher for grades 9-12. This is a full-time permanent position. The primary focus will be Algebra and Geometry using College Prep Math (CPM) Curriculum.

AFSA supports and promotes hand's on learning and has a four acre wooded area and pond available for outdoor classroom experiences and is located withing walking distance of a lake as well. AFSA focuses one experiential learning opportunities with a science and agricultural framework. Students from more than 20 local school districts attend AFSA. Our high school classes are between 25 and 28 students per classroom.

Our ideal candidate will be innovative and adaptable. They will work to develop student-led learning and incorporate projects and hands-on learning within the structure of state standards. Field trips are encouraged! They should be a strong communicator and willing and able to collaborate with their colleagues. AFSA brings a unique learning experience to our students and we are seeking teachers who can build strong student, parent, and community relationships for our team.
