Lockwood anticipates an enrollment of nearly 1,750 students in grades K-12 next fall including 550 high school students.
Lockwood is located just east of Montana’s largest city, Billings, the regional hub for medicine, entertainment, and shopping.
This is an exciting time in our growing community and we are looking for top-flight educators to join our team. We have completely upgraded all of our facilities, including the opening of a brand-new high school in 2020.
We are a district known for innovation with a focus on student needs; having received numerous recognitions for our academic and socio-emotional support programs. Lockwood also has developed a robust mentoring and support system for early career educators.
In addition to a highly competitive salary schedule, we also offer excellent insurance benefits. We rank near the top of Montana’s school districts in terms of overall compensation packages. Our starting salary next year is $40,037 and the district currently contributes over $1,000 per month towards health insurance for each full-time teacher.
