West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan Area Schools, also known as School District 197, is a public school district comprised of eight close-knit schools that serve more than 5,000 students from the communities of Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Lilydale, Mendota, Mendota Heights, Sunfish Lake, and West St. Paul in Minnesota. School District 197 is fortunate to have a vibrant school community filled with a variety of academic, athletic, and artistic opportunities for students at every age, from early learning to grade 12.
