Pine River is the proud home of the Pine River-Backus Tigers, a small town school district with the comforts of a neighborhood school and the opportunities of a large school district. We are a pre-k to 12th grade school with approximately 1,000 students and 7,800 residents. We cover approximately 500 miles and employ 175 people.
