Lakes International Language Academy (LILA), founded in 2004, is a Pre-K - 12 public charter school that occupies three buildings in Forest Lake, MN.
LILA offers a choice of Spanish or Mandarin Chinese language immersion for Pre-K - 5. At the Upper School, students can continue immersion in their target language, or choose to learn Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, or French.
LILA has been authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) to use its world-renowned educational programs: Primary Years Programme (Pre-K - 5), Middle Years Programme (6 - 10), and Diploma Programme (11 - 12).
