District/Organization Description:

The School District of Superior is currently the 23rd largest school district in the State of Wisconsin. Superior sits on the western point of Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world. With our neighbor, Duluth, MN we create, the Twin Ports, the largest port on the Great Lakes. Living in Superior brings year round recreation including fishing, biking, swimming, hunting, golfing, hiking, and enjoying the four seasons. The school district is made up of eight school buildings-- six elementary buildings, one middle school and one high school. The School District of Superior offers excellent programs for children pre-kindergarten through grade 12 and services 4,191 students. The district employs approximately 800 staff.
