LEAD Public Schools is a network of 6 charter schools serving over 3,000 students in grades 5-12 in Nashville, Tennessee. Our mission is to ensure that our students, upon graduating from one of our two high schools, are ready for college, ready for life. We believe that students' educational opportunities should not be limited to their zip codes or socio-economic status. A majority of our students enter our 5th grade 2-3 grade levels behind their peers. Through our academic models, we have seen 100% of our graduates get accepted into 4 year colleges of their choice.
How do we do that work? Our teachers...which is why LEAD Public Schools is all in for our teachers. Our teachers have the opportunity to earn up to a 10% raise each year, are continuously coached in both academics and student support throughout the year, and are parts of a strong team and family of aligned educators working to close the achievement and opportunities gap.
